Chris Zefferys is an alumnus of the University of Washington,
where he graduated with a degree in
business administration with a marketing concentration.
After graduation, he put his passion for marketing to
work at some top advertising agencies across the globe,
working on Fortune 500 accounts. It was then that Mr.
Zefferys experienced the realities of the working world:
Working astronomical hours month after month, getting
passed over for promotions, working with bad managers,
getting laid off, trying to find another job during the
dotcom crash, and becoming a real commodity product in
the work force. After quitting his job, he realized he
could have managed his own professional life to get a
