Eric Weaver is principal of Brand Dialogue LLC,
a
specialty branding and marketing firm focused on Marketing
2.0 and specializing in social media, pull marketing,
corporate blogging, podcasting, RSS and search marketing.
A long-time advertising and marketing veteran, he has
held senior executive positions at Young & Rubicam,
Foote Cone & Belding, and Hamburg-based Kabel AG.
A podcaster, business blogger and a popular conference
and seminar speaker, Mr. Weaver holds degrees in both
Communication Arts and Electronic Media from Xavier University,
where he graduated summa cum laude. Professional training
includes Project Management through the General Motors
Corporation and Critical Path Project Management through
Accenture.
Over the years, Mr. Weaver has launched multi-channel
communications programs and brand strategies and created
messaging, positioning, and online marketing efforts for
clients including Brita, Clorox, De Beers, Ford, Level
3 Communications, Lincoln, Mattel, the Mayo Clinic, Procter
& Gamble, the US Dept. of Commerce, the Clinton Administration,
and others. He has helped introduce the BMW MINI, the
Lincoln LS, several public companies, numerous startup
companies, and many packaged goods.
Mr. Weaver has won three Gold Beacon Awards, a Clio Award,
a Cool Corporate Web Site Award, an International Automotive
Advertising Award, a spot in Popular Science's "50
Best of the Web," and many more awards for his savvy
marketing and communication campaigns. His memberships
include the Northwest Entrepreneurs Network, AIGA, American
Marketing Association, Ad Club of Seattle, and Seattle
Podcasting Network.
