Founder and President of Private
Prep, Inc., Steve Feldman has over ten years of tutoring experience,
specializing in standardized test prep and mathematics. After co-founding Feldman
Tutors in his hometown of Bethesda, MD, Mr. Feldman moved to New York City to
start an educational venture of his own. Private Prep has quickly become one of
the fastest growing and widely respected tutoring agencies in and around New York
City.
Private Prep is a boutique-tutoring agency based in Manhattan, run
by experienced, passionate, highly qualified educators with proven success in
helping students improve grades and increase test scores. The agency is expert
in teaching standardized test prep (SAT, ACT, ISEE, etc) as well as assisting
students in school courses including, but not limited to, Math, Foreign Languages,
Science and English. Private Prep understands the ultra competitive environment
of NYC public and private schools and strives to make every session not only an
effective learning experience, but also interesting and enjoyable for its students.

Mr.
Feldman is directly responsible for tutoring 63 (and growing) students in subjects
including algebra, geometry, pre calculus with analysis, economics, chemistry,
statistics, trigonometry and multi variable calculus. He is also experienced in
assisting learning disabled students with time management and organizational skills,
and customizing test strategies for students to maximize scoring potential on
the SAT, SAT IIs, ACT & ISEE. Past positions held by Mr. Feldman include a
position at the The Canell Group at UBS Financial Services and Investment Associate
with Wealth Management USA.
Mr. Feldman grew up in Bethesda, MD and attended
Walter Johnson High School. He scored a 790 on his Math SAT (proving there is
always room for improvement) and has been a coach, teaching assistant and/ or
tutor since 1993. He graduated from Emory University with a BA in Economics.
